About the Role
In this role, you will handle a variety of real estate matters, including complex transactions, contract negotiations, regulatory compliance, and dispute resolution. You will work closely with developers, investors, lenders, and high-net-worth clients, advising them on key real estate issues and helping structure deals. If you enjoy strategic problem-solving, mentoring junior associates, and maintaining strong client relationships, this position is a great fit for you.
Key Responsibilities
Manage residential and commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing.
Draft, review, and negotiate purchase agreements, lease contracts, loan documents, and closing paperwork.
Advise clients on real estate development, zoning laws, property management, and regulatory compliance.
Represent clients in real estate disputes, including contract disagreements, title issues, landlord-tenant matters, and foreclosures.
Work closely with developers, lenders, and investors to structure deals and financing strategies.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior attorneys and legal staff, contributing to the firm's growth.
Engage in business development and maintain strong client relationships to expand the firm's real estate practice.
What We're Looking For
7+ years of experience in residential and/or commercial real estate law (transactional and/or litigation).
Strong contract negotiation and drafting skills for real estate agreements.
Experience managing closings, title reviews, and financing transactions.
Litigation experience in real estate disputes is a plus but not required.
Active Florida Bar admission is required.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a boutique firm environment.
Strong business development skills and an existing book of business is a plus.
