The Staff Services Manager (SSM) I, under the general direction of the Staff Services Manager II in the Grant Management Section, is responsible for supervising and providing clear direction to analytical and support staff to ensure that funding opportunities, grants, contracts, and budgets are executed timely, consistent, and appropriate. The SSM I coordinates with the Research and Evaluation and Health Workforce Policy Sections to align with the Health Workforce Development (OHWD) programs and strategies focused on the development and maintenance of California's healthcare workforce. The SSM I may represent OHWD on special task forces and meetings with other government departments or professional organizations.
This position is subject to the Form 700 Statement of Economic Interests filing requirements, which requires disclosure of certain personal economic interests as determined by the Conflict of Interest Code of the Department of Health Care Access and Information. Pursuant to Government Code section 81008, Form 700 Statement of Economic Interests is public record and will be made available for public inspection.

HCAI offers a hybrid telework schedule with a combination of remote and in-office work schedules for CA residents only.
